The fund invests in global equities and focus on sustainable investments, with the aim of obtaining long-term capital gains. It is actively managed and is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
EDM Global Equity Impact promotes environmental and social characteristics and while it does not have as its objective a sustainable investment, it will have a minimum proportion of sustainable investments.
At EDM, we use the pass/fail methodology to calculate the percentage of sustainable investment. As established in our Socially Responsible Investment Policy, each investment is evaluated according to our internal ESG criteria, its alignment with the sustainable objectives of the Fund and the UN SDGs. The result of this analysis is an ESG score with a range of 0 to 100 (100 is the highest score). If the result of this process generates an ESG score ≥ 50, the investment in its entirety will be considered sustainable. If an investment has an ESG score below 50, a review process must be undertaken to determine its suitability, as further detailed under the “Strategy” section.
